We at Vertx Hockey are proactive with providing you with the most up to date product pricing and information. Although in certain cases, pricing or typographical errors may occur. If an item is listed with incorrect information or at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion. In this situation, we will contact you directly to let you know of the error and communicate the correct information and price. At this time, you can choose to continue the purchase or cancel. Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice. 

 

Conditions of USE

Your use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions of the company. Your placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. 

 

Payments

Vertx Hockey accepts most major credit cards (Visa, American Express, Discover, MasterCard), PayPal, PayPal Credit, and other payment methods with appropriate billing and shipping addresses to be verified. All orders are to be paid in full at the time of purchase. Secured by SSL (https). The SSL protocol is used by millions of online businesses to protect their customers, ensuring their online transactions remain confidential. Our web page uses encryption to protect users when submitting confidential data, including personal information, passwords, or credit card/payment details. We will never sell, give, or provide this information to any other agency.

 

Sales Tax

Pennsylvania residents are subject to a 6% sales tax.

 

Stick Warranty
Vertx Hockey stands behind our sticks. Each stick purchased comes with a 30-day limited warranty from the time of receipt of the product. The limited warranty will cover any damage or defect that was caused due to a manufacturing error. The limited warranty will not cover any damage, breakage, abuse caused by any purposeful act by the user, general wear and tear, etc. If your stick does incur damage or breakage during proper use on the ice you will be able to participate in the Vertx limited warranty program. To receive your replacement stick, you must contact us immediately. We will approve your inquiry to send it back with an RMA number. Send us your broken stick where it will be evaluated in-house. After your stick is evaluated to be in terms with our warranty, we will contact you and issue your replacement stick. This Limited warranty is good for one (1) replacement stick. One-time replacement is valid on sticks received in the past 30 days and in accordance to our policy. You must have original receipt, non removeable warranty sticker adhered to stick, removeable warranty sticker adhered to receipt, and entire broken stick. Eligible for exchange for same model stick. If exact stick is not available, we will assist in ordering another or substituting. Not valid in exchange for cash or credit.

Stick Warranty Return Procedure

  1. Contact Vertx Hockey concerning your stick warranty issue so we can review your situation, check availability of replacement, and note the date of your warranty issue.
  2. Once approved and notified, prepare your broken stick for shipment. You must return all pieces of the defective stick. You will also be responsible for postage to return the stick for review.
  3. Include the original receipt, packing list, and or order number as well as your contact name, email, and phone number in box.

 

Custom Sticks

Vertx Hockey is proud to offer full custom ice hockey sticks. The time it takes to create the stick and delivery is about 45 business days, depending on your location it is being delivered to. This number of days can vary with demand. All custom/VX2 Pro stick sales are final. With how busy the manufacturing process of these sticks can get, there are sometimes errors that can occur as well. In a situation where there is not a major manufacturing error that does not alter the usage or construction of the stick, we are not responsible to take corrective action. We also reserve the right to deny any claim of incorrect placement of logos, labels, paint, colors, and more that do not affect the overall stick construction or usage. For all sticks that are custom ordered beyond our listed offerings on our website the previously stated and following applies. We are not responsible for the unfair use of any logo, name, or slogans that you wish to have placed on your stick. We also reserve the right to deny a logo, slogan, name, or any other graphics and colorways you wish to use.

 

If you wish to pursue a custom-made blade for your stick the following applies. You must send the blade only, with no more than 6” of shaft attached to it, to our mailing address that will be provided to you via email. This shipping fee is paid for by you. Once arrived the blade will be inspected and approved for molding. We will then have the mold created which can take up to an additional 8 weeks days to produce on top of the estimated 45 days of stick construction. The new mold will then be used to create your one-piece stick with your desired blade. From here your sticks will undergo testing to assure there are no manufacturing errors. There is no guaranteed return of the original blade to you.

Shipping / Returns / Refunds

Products are shipped UPS, FedEx, DHL, or USPS. We cannot guarantee which provider will be delivering your package due to location, please check the tracking number when/if provided. We currently offer our shipping to the contiguous United States and Canada. If you are in Canada please contact us for more information regarding our shipping policy to your country. We are not responsible for any customs, duties, or other additional fees for orders shipped to any country outside of the United States.

 

If a product arrives damaged, please report it to the shipping carrier immediately and notify us via email within 24 hours of receiving the damaged item. Keep the product with its original packaging and box and take note of damaged or missing items and include this in your email. If you do not follow these instructions, you may be denied a refund for the damaged item. We will contact the shipper once we receive the email with the info and schedule a pickup if needed. DO NOT send it back to the return address without written approval from Vertx Hockey. Upon receiving a written approval and an RMA number you can send back the item. Once the item is received back and inspected, a replacement or credit will be issued.

 

If you order a product and it is no longer wanted, you may cancel the purchase. Please notify us immediately. If the item has not left our possession you will receive a confirmation of the cancellation and there will be no fees associated.  If the item has shipped it can be returned for a 10% restocking fee only if unused, unopened and is not an exception* listed below, or a custom stick, see previous. We will not accept any returns on parts which are "not normally stocked". Cancellation or return of these "not normally stocked" items may result in up to a 50% restocking fee. These restocking fees may be adjusted less, at the discretion of Vertx Hockey. To return an item for a full refund for a normally stocked item less the corresponding restocking fee it must be in unopened, brand new condition with original packaging untouched. Shipping fees are not refundable in either direction unless approved. All items wanting to be returned must be reported within 14 days of paid invoice date. No items will be returnable after 14 days. There will also be a 5% transaction fee for payments returned via credit card. If the package is returned to original sender without consent, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs and pay up to a 25% restocking fee if you choose to not have the item reshipped to you. These fees will be charged to your account on file or will be invoiced to you. 

 

 

Exception*

We do not accept returns on items not purchased from Vertx Hockey that are special clearance items, opened items, used items, special order items, customized items, incomplete items, items with incomplete or damaged packaging. If you modify, install, or alter the item in any form, we cannot accept it as a return. Period. 

If the product you ordered is sent either incorrectly by Vertx Hockey, we will arrange a return and ship out a replacement or correct item. This will be determined by Vertx Hockey after an investigation of the issue.
